Beirut Rendez-vous

Over the past 30 years, as in other world regions, the rising importance of insurance in the cultural and economic contexts of Arab countries has translated into growing needs of continual education, training, and conferences in the insurance sector.

Leaders in the international reinsurance and insurance field have witnessed the many fruitful conferences that have been organized in Beirut in the decades before the Covid-19 pandemic in collaboration of ACAL and the General Arab Insurance Federation (GAIF).

Summits that attracted international and regional insurers and reinsurers to Beirut have served the regional growth of insurance and reinsurance by facilitating new partnerships and joint venture negotiations, treaty renewals, human capital development, and adaptation of the best local practices to latest global insurance insights from transformation of client awareness and behavior to digital technology and cyber solutions. Among the successful events was the predecessor Beirut Rendez-vous conference, which in 2005 attracted 600 participants from various insurance and reinsurance specialties.

Standing in the tradition of the 2005 Rendez-vous event and other regionally pioneering insurance conferences for the Arab market in the Near East and North Africa, Beirut RDV 2024 is on course to eclipse all earlier insurance industry gatherings that have been held successfully in Lebanon.

From May 14 to 16, Beirut RDV will convene once again in the conference center of Beirut’s famed Phoenicia Hotel. The registration has been opened on our website and Lebanon’s legendary hospitality awaits you.
